Photo-essay- Grevin the wax museum in Paris

Alright, these aren't swords men sparring off,but a scene set in wax at the Grevin wax museum Paris. With their colorful costumes and swords in hand, they looked so real.Real glad we were able to see this museum. The show started with a bang literally, the lights went out and sections of the mirage hall  lit up to give us a peep into some of the world's people ,their cultures and dress. What a dramatic way to start the show! with music to match the scenes bouncing off the walls, it was a surprise for us to hear Indian music being played in this museum in Paris.Once the mirage show ended, lights were turned on and we went on to view the wax statues...this gentleman seems to say, Bonjour, come on in and meet everyone.Walk through this grand room with me.

Listen to some music...

Experience some drama ,feel the romance with the stars from gone with the wind...
Pause awhile and relax with this french couple...
There is so much beauty here at the Grevin museum in Paris, looking at how pretty she is don't you agree?
OK, there are some scary characters too in this museum of wax.

But,there's also history, historical characters past and present on display at grevin museum.
Don't these kids sitting as they are in a classroom look life like?
And yes, there is even a wax statue of mahatma Gandhi the father of the Indian nation here.
Now,who would want to miss out on a picture with the president of France even if it's only his wax statue? Not me!
I hope Carla doesn't mind...
And this mythical character makes you stop and wonder...who could this be?
All though most of the wax statues at Grevin museum are of french personalities, there are also  international movie stars and historical figures.

  1. Hi Charmine, you slipped this post in over the weekend while I was not around. The wax museum looks like so much fun. Some of the characters look so life like. The variety is amazing, everything from Gone With the Wind to Pan and his flute.
